LONDON  ROMAN SHADE______________________

The London Shade is mostly flat across the top, but has tucks that create an unstructured, luxuriant swag at the bottom of each panel with fan shaped tails on the ends. A London Shade wider than 72" will have more than one swag. Soft. Pliable fabrics tent to drape nicely in the London Shade without much attention. Heavier fabrics may require dressing each time they are raised. Some fabrics when used with this shade have a permanently rumpled appearance. The London Shade can be lined or unlined. To create the swagged appearance of the London Shade,  the bottom of the shade is pulled up in the back and fixed permanently. This characteristic is visible in sheer, unlined shades of this style.

Note: Except where a sheer, see-through effect is desired we generally recommend lining our fabrics. Lining provides some protection against sun damage and fading. White lining is free of charge, and blackout lining is 10% extra.
