ROMAN SHADES FABRIC GUIDE

Ref# 1: Makes up well in all styles.

Ref# 2: Makes up well in all styles. When unlined, pleat seams tend to be slightly wavy and have a relaxed appearance.
Ref# 3: Soft, pliable hand. Makes up well in all styles. Drapes especially well in  the Cloud style. Relaxed appearance in folding shades.

Ref# 4: Soft hand but has body. Makes up well in all styles. May retain a slightly rumpled appearance in the Cloud style.

Ref# 5: Stiffer hand. Makes up well in all styles. Tends to retain a rumpled appearance in folding shades.

Ref# 6: Very stiff hand. Makes up well in folding shades. Not recommended for the Cloud Roman.

Ref# 7: Heavy fabric. Makes up well in all styles. Larger shades in this fabric will be heavy to lift, particularly Cloud shades, but manageable by most people.

Ref# 8: Silk fabrics. Makes up well in all styles. Variations in consistency are inherent characteristics of silk's natural beauty and should not be considered flaws. May retain a slightly rumpled appearance when lowered from the "up" position.

Ref# 9: Prints or woven patterns. Makes up well in all styles but patterns will be interrupted if used in shade styles with horizontal seams.

Ref# 10: Washed fabrics. Makes up well in all styles. Wrinkles are an inherent characteristic of these more casual fabrics.

NOTE: Except where a sheer, see-through effect is desired we generally recommend lining our fabrics. Lining provides some protection against sun damage and fading.
